The shank of the ring is sterling silver and has a great ribbed and serrated texture around the bezel. It also has the MMW logo engraved inside the shank.

The oxidized brass insert was cast off a vintage button and is a bit smaller than a quarter ($0.25 us).

It features a relief carving of an anchor inside an 8 pointed starburst pattern. We're particularly drawn to the 8 pointed star. Over the life of the MMW line it has come to represent the 8 fold path. So in this case you're anchored in the path.... or it's just a cool ring.
